" Born in Columbia, SC on Nov. 23, 1928. Betty graduated from high school and worked for a while. She joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1950 where she met and married Arthur Eppley. She was soon with child, which ended her military career. She had 4 children which begat 10 grandchildren and in turn begat many Great grandchildren and 3 Great, Great grandchildren who were all loved by her and miss her. When Betty wasn't employed in some fashion, she loved to volunteer at the Senior Center, driving the activity bus or delivering Meals on Wheels. She loved the Lord and her church family at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA. She attended church every week until her legs gave out on her. Even though her presence leaves a void in our family, we know she is safe and secure in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Betty is survived by her 4 children, Karen, Michael, Tina,and Tori and her brother, Jackie Morrison and sister, Anna Hudson. "
