"It is with great sadness that the family of Scott Harmon Markwood announces his passing on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the age of 90 years.

Scott will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Millie; his two sons, Stephen and James; daughters-in-law, Diana and Kristy; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, Nicole, James II and Joseph; his seven great-grandchildren, Kanaan, Amaya, Soleil, Brooklyn, Savannah, James III and Anthony; and by his sister-in-law Beryl Markwood.

He was preceded in death by his son, John; daughter- in- law Sherri; and his grandsons, John Jr. and Jamie Markwood.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 12:30 pm at the County Line Baptist Church, 3461 Ladysmith Road, Ruther Glen, VA 22546. Rev. David Williamson will be officiating.
