"William A. Lowe (Billy Lowe), 70, of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away Tuesday morning, March 12, 2019, at Mary Washington Hospital. Bill was born July 20, 1948, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Emery and Mary (Hathaway) Lowe. Bill loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed working at his family’s business Lowe’s Bait Shop while growing up. Later in life, he drove truck for Michigan Transportation and worked many years as a heavy equipment operator at Autocoach & Engine in Burr Hill, Virginia before starting his own load-bank testing business Lowe Voltage. Bill retired in 2014 and enjoyed his time working on cars and around the house.
Bill is survived by his wife, Sallye (Sullivan) Lowe , children Bill (Stephanie) Lowe, Rob (Stephanie) Lowe, Amanda Frampton; sisters Janet (Arthur) Nelson, Alice (Walter) Meier, Sally Ann Lundsford and sister-in-law Judy Lowe; grandchildren, Keegan Lowe, Emerson Lowe, Tyler Lowe and Madison Frampton and many nieces and nephews . He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard and Dennis Lowe.
A gathering for family and friends of Bill was held on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm in the Chancellor Community Center located at 7300 Old Plank Road in Fredericksburg, VA. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association."
