" Roger O'neil Bullock Sr. (Bolegs)
He was a man among men with talent and knowledge to spare.
He is loved and will be missed dearly. As a young boy he worked along with his family commercial fishing on the Potomac river, as many did at that time and is where his love for it began but life was hard and tough, it wasn't all fun and games. A lot of his knowledge was obtained by the life of hard knocks but that did not deter him. He gained even more knowledge when he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for
four years soaking up knowledge like a sponge and honing his skills and talents. His creativity, craftsmanship, quality and integrity showed in all his work thus instilling a future for success. He fell in love with a young lady by the name of Hazel West as did she too fall in love but at the time what lady wouldn't. He was lean, mean, smart, witty and handsome with potential. They married and had a girl and boy and living a pretty good life. He was showing his talents and skills he pick up along the way trying to be contractor, carpenter, commercial fisherman, business owner, small airplane pilot, welder, husband and a father just to name a few. As things would have it some of the things that where instilled or distilled at a young age would be stronger that anyone could imagine. The life he had created had become to much more than he bargained for and just wanted a simple life. Just be happy and live with as little stress in life as possible and do what he wanted and desired to do. Live a simple life and dying being the last thing the he did. Make no mistake! He loved his family and friends as did they. He had a heart of gold and a stubbornness of a bull. He would give what he could or do to help most anyone as long as they tried to helped themselves. He was honored and revered by all because he was a man among men, a father and a friend.
Forever missed and loved! "
