" James Anthony (Dino) Tune passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 in his home in Spotsylvania, Virginia after a long illness. Dino was born to Victor Tune, Jr. and Cora Lee (Castleberry)Tune on August 11, 1962. He was the second oldest of three children. He was born in Marion, Illinois and was raised in the city of Galesburg where he graduated from Galesburg High School. He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served for 20 years until being medically retired. He received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Strayer University where he also worked on his master’s degree. Dino met his wife, Dawn, in Afton, Virginia. Dino had five children, four daughters, Heidi Farrell of Durham, North Carolina, Brandy Mincey of Richmond, Virginia, Cheyenne Tune of Richmond, Virginia, and Sydney Tune of Fredericksburg, Virginia and one son, Morgan Tune of Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Most recently, he loved to spend time with the family's dogs and the dogs that his family fostered. He also enjoyed watching sports. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and remained loyal to his team no matter how well they played or where he was stationed.

Dino is survived by his wife, Dawn Hurdis Tune, his five children, his sister, Lisa Angelo, his three grandsons and two granddaughters and nieces and nephews.
