" Minerva Ann English, peacefully passed away, surrounded by the ones she held dearest, and went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2020 in Fredericksburg, Va. She was 54.
Minerva was born on November 7, 1966 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to her parents Alice & Samuel Duran. Raised by her Mother Alice and her Stepfather Robert Bullock, Minerva lived her life to its fullest and was a free spirit. Her life’s accomplishments are her children and the lives they live. She loved being a mother and mostly loved being a Nana.
Minerva is survived by; her Mother, Alice A. Zuniga of Las Cruces, New Mexico; her Brothers, Duke Duran of El Paso, Texas; & Dennis Zuniga and his wife Teresa, who she loved as a sister, of Evington, Virginia; her Sister, Yvonne Foy of South Carolina; her Sons, Greg Torode of Virginia, Adam English and his wife Nikki, who she loved as her daughter, of Virginia, Corey English of Tennessee; and her Daughter, Lacey Shea of Virginia; her Grandchildren, Isaac English, Olivia English, Rylan Cosgrove, McKinlee Cosgrove of Virginia, Eli English, Nova English, Leo English, & Arlo English of Tennessee.
On Minerva’s last days she was at peace and in grace, full of love for each and every one of her children and grandchildren no matter where they were. She took pride in being a free spirit, who lived a life loving each and every one of her children and grandchildren with all of her heart, each every day of her life.
Minerva will be cremated, and her ashes returned to her Mother in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The Family will have a small private memorial to celebrate her life and the love she shared.
