Mr. Bigger, I’ve just learned of your sudden passing and am truly saddened that this world lost such a bright soul. I’ve finally made it to Rome, about 10 years from our last High School Latin class together. I’ve never had a teacher impact me so positively than you have. I’ve thought about you and our many years of classes together in almost every part of Italy.
