Life story

"Gary Davis, age 58, of Remington VA, died on Sunday March 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on July 15, 1962 in Malone, NY. Gary graduated from Franklin Academy High School in Malone NY in June 1980. He then moved to Virginia to pursue a career in carpentry. He held many different carpentry jobs ending his career as a Finish Carpenter. For the past year, Gary has helped his future son-in-law with his tree company where everyone he worked with dubbed him "Papa".
Gary was born to George Davis and Betty Sweet Davis who married September 23, 1949. They are both deceased.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Katey Davis (future son-in-law Roger Cole). He also had five Grandchildren, Timothy Cole, Morgan Cole, Gracie Cole, John Carlson and Melanie Cole.
He is also survived by one brother Paul (Madeleine) Davis of Malone, NY and two sisters, Sandra (Bob) Pietras of Bradford PA and Barbara (Dale) Randall of Boscawen NH. Another sister, Carol Davis predeceased him.
Gary enjoyed tinkering in his garage, playing cards, Nascar, and being around his family. He also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Harley.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
