" Marion E. Morgan (Betsy) 10/4/36-9/22/2021. Married to Edward L. Morgan (Deceased). Ed & Betsy were married their entire lives until their deaths. Betsy was a native of Arlington, Va where she grew up. She attended Washington & Lee High school. She raised a family and started out working for C&P telephone and worked very hard to become a manager for AT&T. She taught all her children to be self sufficient. She raised a very successful family. Betsy is survived by all of her 4 children, Linda Morgan Lord, Kevin Powell Morgan, Michael Allen Morgan and Jill Morgan Sater married to Greg R. Sater. She has 3 grandchildren, Justin Anthony Lord, married to Daniela McAllister, Christian Morgan Lord and Lesley Berndt, 2 step gandchildren Lucas and Maxwell Sater and one great grandaughter, Miriam Katzen Berndt. Her 4 children are ALL VERY successful, 2 owning their own businesses. She was blessed with a sweet, kind, forgiving and accepting nature, all coupled with an extraordinary intelligence and a will of steel. Her life was drastically changed by a catastrophic stroke @ the age of 61. With the help of her husband, her strength, perseverance and sheer will contributed to her surviving w/ some quality of life for another 24 years. She passed shortly before her 85th birthday."
