" Born and raised in New York City, Artie leaves behind his wife, Maryann, (married 59 years), and two wonderful sons, Edward and Thomas, and his beloved two granddaughters Chloe and Cate.
Artie was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, godfather,
and friend. He was always smiling, happy, joking, helping people and never had a bad work for anyone.
Artie was a machinist for many years, then a printer. He enjoyed doing
anything outside (camping, hiking, fishing, gardening). He was much loved and will be greatly missed.

I'm so sad to hear of my Uncle Artie passing. Being the daughter of Robert his brother he reminds me alot of my dad. Except my Uncle Artie will always be remembered as the calm, sweet, joking, quiet brother. He was a family man. I always enjoyed joking around with him at the family reunions, and at Uncle Kenny's family cottage outings, playing with my quiet cousins, his boys, Thomas and Eddie. I wish we could come and say goodbye in person. Please know we send our love, and condolences to all of you. Our hearts are heavy, and he will be sorely missed. Rest in peace Uncle Artie, We love you, Love the Hoffmann/Carmody family

Artie and Maryanne were our neighbors for several years. We enjoyed taking walks together, while Artie joked and told stories from his past. He was a lovely fellow. Maryanne, you and your family are in our prayers for comfort and peace.
