" Daniel Wayne (Killer) Dodson, 47, of Rhoadesville, VA died Monday, December 6, 2021 while working. He was born in Alexandria, VA on June 6, 1974 to Allen Wayne and Sandra Taylor Dodson.
Daniel was a hard worker and was employed as a Superintendent for Abby Construction Co., Inc., but was considered a “jack of all trades”. Danny loved to work and help other people. If he could YouTube it, he could fix it. He was always full of questions and soaked up information like a sponge. He brightened up every room that he entered. He was stubborn, didn’t like asking for help, and hated the word “No.” He previously lived in Fredericksburg, Stafford, and Woodbridge, VA. He dearly loved his wife, parents, and children. He was hurt that he did not have a good relationship with his children whom he loved greatly. He loved his childhood lifetime sidekick, Kenneth (Boogie) Sheets and, at times, they were inseparable. He loved the color red, his Dodge Cummins Diesel pick-up truck (Big Red), and his dogs, Annie Loo, Cookie, and Harley. He loved technology and always wanted the latest products. He loved to party and have a good time. He was a good cook and a heck of a Sous-Chef. He was always mischievous and loved to pull everybody’s chain. He was a big help to his parents, and managed to look out for them, even when he wasn’t around. He was a very dependable individual, and could always be relied on to do what he said he would do.
In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Erienne Alisabeth Galvin Dodson; his children, Lauren Elizabeth Dodson and Cameron Michael Dodson; one niece, Nicole Marie Dodson and one nephew, Michael Aaron Dodson.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 PM on February 12, 2022, at the White Oak Volunteer Fire Department, located at 12 Newton Road, Fredericksburg, VA, 22405. Pastor Perry Forrester from Faith Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA will preside.
