"Jake Haught was first and foremost a devoted Christian. He loved the holy Father and Son and would let you know it. A close second came his family. He was a devoted husband who doted on his wife every day. He made sure she was taken care of in every way. He was always there for his two children and would give them anything and everything they ever needed. He loved his siblings, nieces and nephews and grandchildren and spoke of them often. In his younger years he loved to coach little league baseball and football. He was always on the field trying to help kids become a better version of themselves. It didn’t matter who you were or where you were from, he was going to take care and make sure you were heard. Jake (Pete) was always the jokester and would do anything to put a smile on your face. He loved working on cars and watching westerns. He loved fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors with his family. Jake (Pete) had a career in local government doing inspections. He loved what he did and was very good at it. He worked hard all of his life and he instilled that work ethic into his children. Jake’s (Pete) family always came first and that’s the legacy he leaves behind.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Barbara Haught. His daughter Shannan Haught and her significant other Justin Washington, his son Joshua Haught and wife Kimberly, 8 grandchildren, Two siblings and many nephews and nieces. "
