" Born in Europe, Peter Zeranski and his family migrated to Canada, and then the United States soon after World War II, ultimately settling in Pittsburgh. Peter received his MBA in marketing from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. After marrying his wife, Laura, in 1973, they moved to the Washington DC area where Peter spent more than thirty years as a marketing executive with the U.S. Postal Service. For the last ten years with the company, he served as a principal marketing strategist for their small business programs. After retiring, Peter launched a small consulting practice aimed at helping small businesses grow.
An avid ballroom dancer, Peter was a director on the board of the Cotillion Dinner & Dance Club with Laura. Peter and Laura wrote two cookbooks together, Polish Classic Recipes and Polish Classic Desserts, and enjoyed attending book festivals and sharing samples of their recipes. Peter also loved to travel, enjoyed drinking good wine, and was notorious for his love of Hallmark movies. He will be remembered for his humor and generosity.
Peter is survived by his wife, Laura, his daughter, Christina, his son-in-law, BJ, his granddaughter, Lucy, and many cousins around the world.

I loved the comment about the Hallmark movies - even in the middle of summer I remember him saying he was going to watch a Hallmark Christmas movie!
I miss him.

Peter was a great person! We enjoyed going out to dinner with Pete and Laura and dancing the night away. We had some really fun trips to the wineries with the Dance Budz . We will miss him very much.
