"On the night of September 1, 2022, our beloved Ramona F. Hayhurst of Fredericksburg, Virginia went home to be with Our Lord, her Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 78.

Ramona was born to Roman and Erma Fetherol in 1943 of Fairmont, West Virginia. She lived most of her years in Virginia where she was well known for her love of people and her great sense of humor.

Ramona went from serving the many customers that she loved at McDonald’s for over 20 years’ to spreading encouragement by being the “Heart Lady” with her countless heart drawings that included writings, most known for her quote of “Be safe, be kind, and always be you, because God only made one you.”

Ramona is preceded in death by her father Roman, her mother Erma, her daughter Melissa, her son in law Mike W., her grandson Brian, her granddaughter Majesta, and her granddaughter Ariel.

She is survived by her daughters Ramona Jr., Amanda, Debbie, Janice, her son in law Mark, her grandchildren Thomas, Mallory, Justin M., Legacy, Makell, Roman, Jennifer, Ashley, Justin G., Allen, LeAnn, Preston, Christopher, Jasmine, Tyler, and many great grandchildren that she truly loved.

The family is holding a private memorial, keeping precious memories of Ramona in their hearts forever with no public service.
