Life story

"Growing up in Alexandria and spending her summers in Fairview Beach as a child, Cindy started her life long love for the beach community where she eventually settled permanently until her passing.
Cindy selflessly poured her heart and soul into her community, from selling hundreds of raffle tickets for Fairview Beach Day every year, to raising money for friends and family in need.
Although Cindy has gone through her own fair share of heartaches and struggles, she never waivered on her strength for family and friends. Despite the amount of love Cindy gave to all, there was always an honest side to her. If you ask her for an opinion, you'd better be prepared for a honest, unfiltered, no B.S. response.
Besides the love for her family and friends, Cindy had a passion for all holidays. Her favorite was Halloween. She loved turning her home into a haunted house complete with a maze through the backyard and having neighbors volunteer as monsters to scare the neighborhood children.
During Christmas time, Cindy not only made sure her own family was well taken care of but, also collected money from the neighborhood and coworkers, so families in need were able to enjoy their holiday as well.
Cindy was a very hard worker from bottling milk at the farm, bartending at the crabhouse, serving pizzas at Pizza Hut, Roma's and Kings, to finishing her career at Waste Management for the last 23 years. The most important title she ever held was "Mom" to her three girls which she raised as strong, independent women, just like her. She worked very hard to make sure they never went without.
After a long four year battle with ovarian cancer, Cindy is now pain free and has reunited with her parents and beloved dogs, Brandy and Tiki, in Heaven. "
