Jamie Denise Sipe passed away peacefully in her parents' home during the night of December 6th, 2022 at the age of 43, surrounded by her family and friends, listening to the song "Dancing Away With My Heart" by Lady Antebellum. She fought a long four and a half year battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia which ultimately took her life.

Jamie is survived by her husband, Bruce Sipe, her son and daughter, Robert and Savanna Sipe, her step-daughter, Cheyaine Bruening, her Mommy and Daddy, Lisa and Paul Ivey, her "Bro", David Ivey, and her "Sissy", Aniyah Reynolds. She is preceded in death by her Aunt Pamela Ivey, her Aunt Katherine Pipes, her Uncle Eddie Endicott, her Maternal Grandmother Sarah Souleyrette, her Maternal Grandfather Russell Endicott, her Paternal Grandfather Everett Ivey, and her Paternal Grandmother Cynthia Ivey.

Jamie was born on June 27th, 1979 in Middlesbourough,Kentucky. She graduated from King George High School in King George, Virginia in 1998 with honors. On May 16th, 2009, she married her husband Bruce Sipe, the father of her children. She welcomed those children into the world on May 23rd, 2007 and October 2nd, 2010 and dedicated her life to being an adoring mother.

Jamie enjoyed creativity. She enjoyed music, coloring, and all things that involved art, but what she enjoyed most was her family, even more specifically her children. Her number one priority in life was to be there for her children and she fought long and hard to make memories with them. Without a doubt, Jamie’s mark will be left on all those who crossed her path, as her kind heart and cheerful spirit touched all those that had the pleasure of meeting her.

The family held a celebration of life on December 10th, 2022 where many that loved Jamie came together, wearing her favorite color, purple, to honor her and share memories.
