We met Jeffrey some 22 years ago on the Long Island Railroad, which was a daily trek into Manhattan New York.
We are a fun loving crew of 12, with a common thread that runs through us all ..
As if it was fate, we met Jeff.. perhaps the last piece to the puzzle ..
Many envied our group's comradery, Jeffrey made it all the more reason to be the object of the envious.
At various occasions, be they birthdays, Christenings, holidays, and most notably the annual Christmas parties, it was Jeff❤️...he rounded it out.. we all let our guards down; (however few we have

Our heartfelt condolences to the Pignataro family for the loss of their brother and uncle, Jeff.
His Niagara University family is also grieving as he has been our friend and "Crazy Jeff" for 50 years!
We will miss him dearly.

To the whole Pignataro I'm so sorry for your loss. The last time I saw Jeff was at Sharon and Peter Cary's daughter Kate's wedding. It was almost like no time had passed even thought I was now living in Iowa. Jeff was still his jovial self laughing and remanising of the old days. It was a fun day and reminded me of the great times we all had together. He really was the life of the party!

May the love Jeff gave & shared with so many be a comfort to all of Jeff's family.
I've been been Jeff's friend for almost 50 years, Jeff became my husband Peter's dear friend, our four children call him Uncle Jeff... and you can only imagine what he called them and always in a loving & exuberant way. He shared Christmas dinners, family weddings, days at Long Island beaches and drives 'anywhere'. He loved to drive!! I can hear him now and pray I'll hear him always!! Jeffrey John will be thought of everyday forever more...who could ever forget THE FORCE OF NATURE JEFF WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE!! I know your soul and heart rests xoxox

My daughter Maya & I were lucky to have been invited to visit Lake Tahoe with Uncle Jeff back in 2009 if memory serves correctly... maybe 2010. We drove out to Reno, NV from Colorado where Maya & I lived at the time. So, our journey began @ the Reno Airport & the straight to " David Walleys" where Jeff's time share was. In the Sierra Nevadas!!! We laughed and played for a couple of weeks. Oh, and we ate really well too!!! We decided one day to take a trip to see the redwood trees. It should have been about 3.5 hours to the coast. Well, I was driving & Jeff was my co-piolet. I remember looking at the map as he pointed to an alternate route ... "Evie, honey look at this it seems like a quicker way? Right???"
I should have noticed the path we chose was through a mountain range, and very quickly a 3.5 hour trip turned into at least 18 hours of switch backs through the mountains... oh and there was a huge Forrest fire happening as well... Maya was motion sick! The rest.... TBC

All of my memories of Jeff involve laughing! He was the life of the party and lit up a room with his kind smile and witty humor! I'm grateful for the Long Island Railroad and our train crew! We had the most special times and epic parties! I miss Jeff already! My condolences to his wonderful family! Jeff loved telling us about his treasured times with you all. May Jeff Rest In Peace. Sending all my love!

To the Pignataro family, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother Jeffery. and my dear, and lifelong best friend and neighbor.. I have known him all my life and you couldn't find a more TRUE friend to travel through life with. In our childhood we were always into some sort of mischief and I remember sitting in the police department more than once with him waiting for our parents to come and pick us up for minor infractions. And we both knew our fathers were not going to be very happy with us. (understatement) I have so many funny and great memories of Jeffery in our 67 years and I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. Jeff was one of a kind and always the life of the party, I just hope Heaven is prepared for him!
