" John was a genuine man, fully committed to his family. He was the most honest, hardest working man I had ever met. He wore his heart on his sleeve and couldn't keep a secret if you paid him.
His only goal in this life was to work hard to provide for his family. He cherished his time with our daughters and teaching them all he knew. If John didn't know how to fix something he would teach himself how, it was extraordinary to witness.
He thrived on learning and was highly self taught.
Sleep in the Lord my love until we all see you on your next morning. Glory to God in the highest. "

I remember visiting John and Tracy long ago at UVA when Kira was diagnosed- the care and love he had for his family and the hard work he did to take care of them all was love in action. So much love to John’s kids and Tracy- and family and friends as you mourn his loss. May you find lots of support and comfort now, and for the times ahead.

I have know John for close to 30 years, started as client and almost immediately became a valued friend, John was just that way, thru the years I learned John loved his family, wife and daughters beyond words, John would drop everything to help anyone that needed help with just about anything, John was a jack of all trades, a good friend, a good father and good husband. I will miss the stories, John always had a story, he was quite the story teller, I will miss his sense of humor, always had an easy laugh and smile even in tough times. Buddy go rest on High, until we see you again, may God's blessings follow your loving family, our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time. John were you a good man, well done Sir.

So sorry to hear of John's passing. We started together at GE with a group of others hired at the same time. We still tell some of the funny stories of our early career start. John was one of the smartest guys I knew and he definitely loved to solved every problem. Rest easy our old friend until we meet again.
