" Fun loving, outspoken and a willing spirit are the memories held by friends and family of Linda Yvonne Austin-Eldridge who departed this life at the age of 64 years old on January 2, 2024, at her home in Spotsylvania, Virginia. Born on June 11, 1959, she was the eldest and only girl of the three children born to Willie Lewis Austin and Nettie Mae Mundy Austin.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Troy, her son Maurice (Reecie) Austin Nash , two bonus daughters: TaQuaja and Kianya Eldridge; bonus grandson, Jordan Eldridge; two (she always proclaimed that she was an only child, but behold her baby brothers): Glenn and Kevin (Linda) Austin; beloved Godson Jacob (Chubbs) Brown; Devoted niece and caregiver: Monica Austin and niece: Kendra "KeKe" Austin; nephews: Kevin "Ducka"Jr. (Renata) and Elizjah "Eli" Austin; five great nieces: Komari (Kokomo), Kylah (KyKy), and Keriana (Miss Priss) Austin, Kimaya (C-Baby) Green, Xy’onna (ZyZy) Nash.

Linda will be cremated. Friends may join the family for “A Service in Memory Celebrating the Life” at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 111 Jerusalem Church Road in Buckingham (23921) which is scheduled for 12 Noon on January 20, 2024. "
