With submission of a DD-214 discharge document, VCS can provide a veteran's family with a United States flag and transport of the urn to the National Cemetery of your choice at no additional cost. We can also help with coordination of burial at a National Cemetery and contact information to apply for military honors for the veteran.

If a veteran’s family is interested in having a committal service at a National Cemetery, VCS would be honored to assist. Our staff will assist in the scheduling of such services. We will coordinate with the cemetery to procure a time and date that is acceptable to the family and the cemetery.

Each veteran who receives a flag from VCS will also receive a complimentary vinyl flag case. The flag case will provide sturdy protection for safe and honorable keeping of the veteran’s flag. VCS is honored to procure the flag and offer the vinyl case to families for the veteran’s dedication and commitment to our country.
